| | Description: | Calligraphic painting. About 35" x 35" with frame. Acrylics, gouache and 22k gold leaf on two traditional gilding bases (gum ammoniac and slaked plaster gesso), on illustration board mounted to untempered masonite with a wood frame. Uncialized and Gothicized Roman Capital and Black Letter hands are used to express the theme, which is the Diety of God. Gilded wood frame, under glass, with a brass title plate. | | Text: | Except for the phrase, "GOD IS GOD IS . . .", all of the texts are verses taken from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
From the center outward, they are:
"I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Rev. 22:13
"Fear not, I am the first and the last - I am he that liveth and was dead: and behold I am alive for evermore, amen." Rev. 1:27-28
"Be still and know that I AM God: I will be exalted among the heathen: I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10

JEHOVAH TSIDKENU, The LORD our righteousness: Jeremiah 23:2-5
JEHOVAH SHALOM, The LORD our peace: Judges 6:14-24
The small star points contain the seven names of Jehovah in Hebrew, 23k gold leaf on gesso base.
