This original painting was done with opaque watercolors (gouache) on 140-lb hot-pressed Fabriano watercolor paper to which a blue/white coating of wheat paste and acrylic paints was first applied. All of the pen-written capitals were scribed with a Brause 2mm pen, and the terminal stripes applied with a Hunt 101 pointed pen. Details of the work are shown below.
